Chiessi

Chiessi is a charming sea village which lies on the extreme end of the West coast of the Island, a place still in good conditions, where one breathes the atmosphere of the "ancient" Elba.
Bars, restaurants, news-stand and tobacco shopm are present.
The area is characterized by the presence of granite crowned
by the Mediterranean scrub
in which several trails for trecking and
mountain biking, freeride and enduro are present.
It is also present a "via ferrata" and you can go climbing on Mount San Bartolomeo.
    The geographical position makes Chiessi one of the sunniest places of the whole island and being exposed to the winds from the south, including the Mistral,
Chiessi is a popular destination for surfers.
    The beach consists of gravel and well polished cliff from which you can dive
    and snorkel in these waters.
